Book or Get in Touch

Book your appointment two ways in.

If you know what you need, book directly online or by phone. If you are not sure where to start, the 30-minute movement screen exists for that. Either path puts you in front of a doctoral-level DPT, same clinician, every session.

Free, No Obligation

Not sure where to start? Let us figure it out together.

The free 30-minute movement screen is built for patients who are not yet sure whether PT is the right next step, or which of our services fits their case. A doctoral-level therapist will walk through your history, watch you move, and give you a clear, honest recommendation. No pitch, no upsell, no obligation to book afterward.

Quick Answers

Before you book.

Do I need a referral to book an appointment at Physica Medica?

No. Maryland is a direct-access state, which means you can see a physical therapist without a doctor referral. If your insurance plan requires one for reimbursement, we will tell you upfront when we verify your benefits. Bring any imaging or surgical notes you have so we have the full clinical picture from day one.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Insurance card (even if out-of-pocket, for reimbursement paperwork), any imaging or surgical reports relevant to your case, a referral if you have one, and clothing you can move in. Plan on 60 minutes for the first visit. You will leave having received treatment, not just an assessment.

How do I know which service is right for me?

If you are not sure, do not book a full session yet. Request a free 30-minute movement screen instead. A DPT will walk through your case and give you a clear, honest recommendation. Or call 443-228-8029 and we will help you decide before you book anything. Browsing the services page first is also a reasonable starting point.
